Chilly!

Brrrr! It is just October and suddenly the weather in Atlanta took a turn towards cold. We loved breaking out the fall styles though and went off to school each day this week in style. Lilly and Lucy felt that the cold snap warranted a 25% off sale on cold weather clothes, so enjoy it while it lasts. The holidays are just around the corner......

New Arrivals!

New merchandise is arriving daily! We went with Biscotti and Tralala for our holiday dresses this year and are very pleased with the choice. Biscotti is so soft and sweet. Tralala is expected next week and in rich velvet and fancy toile print. If you want your little bug to really stand out this holiday season, we think you should go with a wild fur embellished dress from Zaza Couture. We love Zaza and we know you love it too!

Special thanks go out to the Lilly & Lucy staff for their hard work at the warehouse sale. The first three hours are a bit hectic and they persevered in spite of the heat. We had fun meeting our customers and other shopkeepers. See you again in February!

Children's Warehouse Clearance Sale in Atlanta

After visiting this sale back in February, we signed up for it. It is sponsored by The Works and benefits Soul Food-an organization that helps grandmothers that are raising their grandchildren. They have a great mission and it is a great way to close out the season for our boutique. We brought home fun things like a La Folie Mad Hatter Knit Hat for $10 (retail $48) and a pair of Pipsqueaks flower sandals for $14 (retail $36). We hope you can join us at the sale.

Mad Sky Kids Fall Arriving Soon!

We love Mad Sky Kids and are excited that our fall shipment will arrive any day now. Sweet feminine florals mixed with modern and current colors make up the Mad Sky Kids original line. Attitude Pie Birthday Tees

We love birthdays and we think these tees from Attitude Pie are the perfect announcement to the world that your little bug is "2" (or 1, 3, 4). Lots of sparkles on a great cotton tee. Our bug pairs hers with a pair of denim shorts and is ready for the day. They are also an excellent topper for a tutu-just add the crown!

Spring Photo Shoot

We love shooting our lines on models and try to have a few of our own shots each season of our merchandise on little bugs. One thing or another kept us from getting things done this spring, but we did manage to get Reagan with Memories of a Lifetime photography to capture a few outfits for us. This shot didn't make it into the shop, but I love the determinination of this little one walking away. The outfit is the Petit Lem Capri Set.

To Market, To Market To Buy a Fat Pig...

We were back at market today to finish buying for fall & winter. We had already purchased Deux par Deux, Biscotti holiday dresses, Petit Lem and Zaza Couture to name a few, but needed to finish up. Fell in love with TraLaLa's holiday dresses and swing sets (hint: red & cream, black & cream, blue floral). I have oohed and aahed over Sorbet everytime I have been to market and finally added it to the Fall line (hint: blue & brown & soft). Mad Sky was fun to buy-the tutu sets for Fall were my favorite (hint: think pucci & zebra). Birthday tees were on our list to add and we picked up some ultra cool ones from Attitude Pie. We aren't waiting for fall on those and expect them in stock mid-April.
Going to market is like a huge shopping spree... home again, home again jiggity jig.

Deux par Deux Rocks!

Deux par Deux is a personal favorite of mine. It was so fun to shop at market for the spring/summer lines and to watch them arrive into our boutique. All of it is just precious, but the Gotta Have It & Oh My Darling prints are my favorites. I am so relieved that my Lilly's summer wardrobe is well stocked with Deux par Deux.

Baby Nay is so fun this season! It is always so hard to choose from all the different prints at market. Baby Nay is always comfortable and the fabric this season seems especially soft.
